You can get three tacos and rice and beans for $9. Carne asada was great, can't wait to try more. Love the hot sauce. Only downside is that they close super early.

Ventured here for the first time and ordered the taquito plate. It was a very reasonable price. They did get my order wrong and but beans in the box. I did not know till I got home. The taste of my combo plate was very good. Glad that I did have a chance to try their beans. I will return if I'm ever in the area. Service people were very friendly.

Marielas is one of my go-to lunch places and I love it! Prices are reasonable and food is good! The two ladies that work there are super friendly and hardworking!

Every time I visit LA I stop at Mariela's to get a carne asada burrito. It's one of the best burritos I've had. Tasty, fresh, and with perfect amounts of steak rice and beans. The tortilla is good and the salsas are delicious! - my reason for not 5 stars is I have not tried anything else besides the burrito! - but I'd love to! - I really love this place!

Love the carne asada burrito with green sauce ! It's a must have ! Al pastor is okay not the best! They have caldo de res my mom loved! Check them out

Great first experience eating here and was amazing and authentic menu. We will be back again...the people were incredibly nice and attentive to questions on the menu. Thanks so much!

My boyfriend and I were in the mood for some traditional Mexican food. He ordered a lengua torta with the works. I ordered a carne asada tostada. Then I realized it was a Sunday and I got my fix of caldo de pollo!!!! The torta and toastada were yummy but nothing beats quality caldo! I know I'm going to come back for more of their soups!

Place is pretty solid. I've only gotten the burritos and the taco plates but you can't go wrong with asada. Reminds me of the spot I used to go-to growing up. They got something for everyone

We returned to Mariela's after a long, long hiatus to get pastor, carne asada and carnitas burritos. We were reassured that the quality was still what we expected. Everything freshly made, well seasoned and the burritos were even throughout with rice, beans and meat. I don't know what the other reviewers did wrong here, but our burritos were substantial and bargain priced these days at under $8.00! It's a testament to their food that we keep coming back after moving further away. Still worth the trip. You know your food's going to be fresh when you hear that cleaver hitting the cutting board in there - their signature sound. Something about that carne asada - they get it so right. Yes, it's a tiny parking lot. So walk a block or two. It won't kill you.

This little spot didn't look like much, I almost passed it as I was walking by looking for it. Walked in and it was empty on a Monday early afternoon, which was a nice change of pace from other places I've explored. Ordered, sat down and it was ready quickly. The rice, bean, cheese burrito was delicious! Everything was hot and freshly made. I'm definitely excited to go back and try other things. Was perfect for my lunch break
